How to create basic 2D Noise Texture Animation using keyframes

Welcome, In this tutorial I will teach you how to create very basic animations in Sony Vegas 7.

The first thing you want to do is create a new video track

Once you have a new video track right click within that track's timeline and click "Insert Generated Media" when you have done that a window should pop up called "Plug-In Chooser" select Sony Noise Texture and press "OK". You should be about here:

A little about Keyframes:

Keyframe animation is introduced in Sony Vegas at a very beginners/intermediate level. Advanced keyframe animation is used today in 3D Films, it is used for control on animation, using a timeline and to control when certain events happen.

To archive this simply by clicking the Plus (create keyframe) button with the time set to where you want the keyframe to go, for example, the end in this image:

Then it will create a keyframe where you set the time:

Now change anything in the controls above and you will notice (depending on what you change) that certain things will animate or move or change color or well pretty much anything!

Now on the keyframe timeline insert a linear keyframe, once done that you can modify anything you want but for now we will just adjust the Progress.

Set it to about 2.000 for now, if its too slow you can speed it up later

Thats pretty much it, after heavy adjustments and fiddiling around heaps you can achieve This sort of quality, or perhaps even better!
