Unreal Development Kit is...FREE!

I just read this on HIH. Pretty intense! The Unreal Editor Kit is the tool behind every game that uses the Unreal Engine (Unreal Tournament, Gears of War, anyone?) It's a complete set of tools allowing you to edit models, materials, animations, physics, scripting, particles...the list goes on. Download it here:

Oh I am excited about this one. Since it's free, everyone can download it. That means that I can make tutorials about it (or you can make tutorials about it...) and no one will be left out.

It's a pretty big download, though, capping in at about 562MB, but don't let that stop you! I can't wait to see some awesome, community-created content from this.

I saw this a few days ago. But its going to be as hard as anything to make a game. I mean, I cant even figure out how to make an object with an SDK of a game on steam. :(

Hopefully I can make a game though. As they said, the modders actually got jobs from this, so, yay!

I guess it could be a simpler alternative to making animations, but the idea of making games is genius, although "gamemaking" isn't a usual hobby.
