Gamertags (Finally!)

Right now, before you even finish readin this post, go put in your gamertag in your profile. If you don't have one, no big deal, but if you do, put it in!

Ok, now that you've done that, we'll continue. I finally got around to installing the code to let users put in their gamertags. The option to put it in is there either on register, or in Edit Profile options. This is good because I can now use your gamertags to put a gamercard, or maybe your Xbox 360 Avatar, somewhere in your profile or post info. I've needed to do this for a long time.

I'm stupid. i'm adding it to the other themes now. Stupid me.

Alright, it works with all the layouts now. My bad. I also added a link to the view profile page that will let you look at your Stats image (for those of you who don't know what that is, it's a dynamically updated image that reflects your user profile. On it there is your avatar, username, register date, post count, board style, and last visit date. It automatically udpates everytime it's refreshed, so when you make a change to your profile, this image instantly reflects that.)

Anyways, add your gamertags as fast as possible, I'll be starting working on adding gamercards and xbox 360 avatars to profiles soon, if yours isn't there, you won't get a gamercard until you put it there.

So guys, I want some ideas on how I can use these. Sure I could put gamercards or avatars or something like that...but really that's sorta boring. Gimme some ideas on how I could use your gamertags in a unique way. Remember, with a gamertag I have access to that person's avatar, so I can use those too, I also have access to your default xbox.com gamercard from which I can parse information like gamer zone, score, recently played games, etc. So, what should I do?

Unfortunately I don't have easy access to the games a person has played. I can get them, but it won't be updated frequently since I'll have to pull it all from a 3rd party site. I was hoping to make a custom gamercard using the body avatar, since those are easily accessible:



And I could just work that in witht he information I can pull from the default gamercard (5 most recently played games, gamerscore, zone, and gamer picture). But like I said, gamercards are old news.
