No, I didn't find anything like this, but I think it'd be kinda cool. If you don't get the concept, here it is explained:
Basically, we film a series of very short movies, each movie is a scene in a bigger movie. The movie has a few different plots and outcomes, and all stems off one intro. What the viewer then does is choose the scenes he (she) wants to watch and then a player (that I would probably have to make) would play those scenes in order to show a full movie, with the outcome depending on what scenes the viewer chose. It could start as something, then you chose a next scene, what happens to the person next. After that, there are more scenes that you can choose based off that second scene, and so on. Eventually, you get to choose the ending, whether the person dies, or lives, or kills his target, or learns some truth, etc. This would be completely interactive and would let the user effectively make his own machinima.
What do you think? I didn't want to post this in the movies section because it probably won't happen, but it's a very good idea. I can even see how I would be able to put together the player, fairly easily.
Do you think we can knock something like this out? It would take a lot of planning and paying attention to detail (to make sure that all the scenes are consistent with the previous ones, like weapons, colors, etc), but I can see it turning out really cool.
So, ideas? Comments? Story suggestions? _________________

I'll use php and dynamically generate a playlist file which the user will download and will then watch, it will load the videos from the internet from this playlist, much like if you had a playlist of songs on your computer in Windows Media Player. I think it'll work. If not, I'll get someone to build something in flash for me.
If we do it on youtube we could have annoations or video replys...I also have some people I know that can do flash. Anyway sounds cool, you have to download the movies though? _________________
