I may be blind but I didn't see a topic for this game.

I played it on the computer at my friends house, and I am in love. This game was made by the creators of our second love, Oblivion, which still stands as my favorite single player game. Fallout takes place in the near future in a post nuclear world war fill society, and the human population hgas been hiding out in "Vaultech vaults" which are underground living facilities, and each one had a different experiment going on inside of it. (More on that later)

You start off being born, where your father(the doctor) pulls you out of your mother, and he says "So are you a boy or a girl?" and you choose your gender, then he says "Let's use the 'thing-a-ma-bobber' to see what you will look like when you grow up...", and you customize you appearance. Shortly after you finish, and you get to hear you father comment on your beauty, you hear you moms last breathes as she dies due to child birth. Then it skips forward to when you are one, and your father locks you in a pin while he leaves and you have to get out(which is easy) and you look into a book so you can customize your Strength, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, and Luck (Note: these are permanant, but they affect you only in general). It skips to your Tenth Birthday, and you get to meet your friends, and your (Minor) enemies, but the main thing is you teach you the basics of combat because your dad gives you a BB gun, and you get to kill Radroachs with it. It skips to when you're 16 and you get to that the G.O.A.T (something Occupanial Assesment Test) and the questions are pretty funny, but the test means nothing. In the end you can just set your skills to anything you want. The first screen give you 15 skill points, and it is for skills like "Small guns, Explosives, Energy weapons, Repair, medicine, and science". After you asign the skills it moves on to the Perk page, and you can get one perk per level. Swift learner allows you to get an exp boost, or bloodymess (optained at lvl 6) give you a 5% damage boost with guns and also a chance of making the enemies body fall apart on contact with the bullet. It skips one last time to when you are 19 years old, and your friend is alerting you that your father has escaped the vault(BTW you are in vault 101, and it's experiment was to live by itself and not letting anyone in or out.) and now the head of security is after you. One scientist is dead and now they want you, and thats all you need to know. Once you have made it out, you are greeted with a most beautifly destroyed landscape and you can start your journey by heading to the near by town of Megaton.

Have fun, and try to get to mutated my fellow infections.

omg, that sounds intense. I wish I could buy it, but I don't have any money to spare right now. Maybe when I return one of the movies I bought a while ago, I'll do it (it was LOST season 3 on blu ray, $80).

I know man I cant wait and I am sooo excited to play it on my xbox.

I think that it would be ruined if it was multiplayer. The high levels would kill everyone they came across.
