Post subject: Modding Tutorial: Add LED lights to your Xbox DVD Drive

Turn your boring Xbox DVD Drive into a glowing awesomebox. This mod will walk you through putting lights inside your Xbox's DVD drive that glow and illuminate your disk tray.
This mod was performed by me, HaLo2FrEeEk, as was the tutorial written. I give credit to this gentleman for his hard work in modding electronics, and who gave me the inspiration to do this with an xbox.

I could do it with a 360, I could put lights in the drive like I did here, or I could take out the circuit board that has the ring of light on it and solder on new surface mount LEDs, but for one I can't find surface mout LEDs, and I'm still not the best at soldering yet. _________________

I wrote it. I took those pictures, too. I didn't think to write a tutorial until I'd almost finished the project, but I took the pictures best I could and wrote up the tutorial. _________________
