Ok. Dreamhost, the hosting service on which this site is...hosted, is making some changes that will reduce carbon emissions from their datacenters, thus helping the environment. Now, they say that the process is likely to be frought with problems, unforseen errors, and the like, however they've offered a trade. If you sign your server up to be one of the first to be moved (as a test, sort of), you automatically get unlimited disk space and bandwidth.
What this means is that no matter how many files I upload, or how many people download them, I will always have more space. Unlimited means that, as long as I stay within the rules, I cannot run out of space. I can't exceed my quota for the month, I can't upload too many files, I can't...well, anything like that.
What this also means is that there are likely to be problems. The site might go offline, it might crash, the world might explode. Nothing you don't see everyday, but it's nice to have a warning.
SO! This all being said, this is good and potentially not quite as good. Unlimited disk space and transfer does nothing if people can't access it, right? Anyways, hopefully the process goes silky smooth and everyone is happy, including myself. I don't want to hear anyone complaining that the site is down, if it goes down, this time it's partially my fault, but I did it for the good of mankind, and all who love gaming! Don't you understand!
