I worked on these for 2 nights, with a 2 week pause in between each. Regardless, I got them back up and running, and I'm actually quite proud of the result. I know there's still a lot to work on, but I'm no designer, and they work, so I'm happy. |

Sorry for the unexpected downime guys. It was a spur of the moment decision to use merge the databases from their old server to a new one that was housing a few other databases that I use. Unfortunately it took longer than expected. No problem, though, everything went through. Still working out a few bugs, but all should be set straight soon. |

For all of you who have the toolbar installed, you knew I was doing this. If you don't have the toolbar installed, I moved the podcast from our old host to this server, so now everything should be quicker and we can eliminate slow load times. After a lot of frustration I also rebuilt the podcast feed, so you can subscribe to the podcast through Zune using the local feed and download the files from this server. It's an iTunes compatible feed, too, but I haven't added it to their database yet. |

Yes, it seems I follow a very strict trend. I hadn't played this for more than an hour when I realized that I should record the cutscenes. I did, but it took longer than expected (that's me trying to multitask). So far only the Windows Media HD versions are encoded and uploaded, but Quicktime HD versions will be made available, and also SD versions of all of them. And they'll be put on Youtube. I'll keep you all posted, but check out what's there, it's HAWT! All versions are uploaded, you can now enjoy in Windows Media, Quicktime, and Youtube HD or SD. |

Yes, there are indeed multiple announcements I need to make here. The first is that I've posted a new tutorial, also creating a new category for it to go in. I will not ruin any surprises, but this newspost links to the forum thread. The next is that Poisonblood is planning a machinima in the movie section, you should check it out, it's promising. The third is that this newspost is the 117th linked newspost since I started this system, and we all know what 117 corresponds to...don't we? Please do at least comment on the new tutorial, a LOT of work and risk went into it. |

As most of you know, myself and 3 others got the Annual achievement last thursday. I recorded the entire final run in HD and I'm offering it to you for download. Please, do enojy, a fair amount of work went into making it look like a single, clean runthrough without any deaths. |

I've always hated them, always ignored them, but when I learned that simply placing a few ads on the site would (potentially) earn me some money, I hopped on the bandwagon. I will be putting the ad code on the site and forum. If we're lucky, it should garner enough money to pay for the site. Unfortunately, the ads are targeted toward stuff that doesn't have anything to do with what we do, but still, they're there to help. |

First part of the title refers to a new thing I'm giving away: Infectionist Emails! This means you could have a you@infectionist.com email address, and log in and check your email right here, easy as pie! Read all about that in the thread this links to.

Rhapsody (name change from HOLY RHAPSODY) donated $10 to keep the old domain up for another year, this will help a lot because old members not aware of the new domain will be directed to the new one, and it'll help me fix all the old links.
If anyone else wants to donate to pick up a few month's bills, that'd be great, I have a $4.96 positive balance on the plan now, meaning I'll have to pay the remainder when the bill cycle comes around.

Update: I've added loads more screenshots from campaign. There are 85 total now. I'm still working on a few new features, but for the most part the part stuff is done. Now the server will automatically generate thumbnails for me and put them in the right folder, all I have to do is upload the full images, it'll also get all the filenames for me, so I don't have to manually update the script everytime I add new ones. |

Remember the desktops I posted a while back using my shiny surfaces tutorial for C4D. Well, I had some time and I decided to go back and fix some stuff that was bugging me. I rendered with anitaliasing to smooth edges, fixed lighting and textures, and improved the overall quality of the images. There are 2 variations, both offered in wide and fullscreen formats to fit any screen resolution. Enjoy! |

Bungie released a Legendary Map Pack trailer, to show off the maps. The video is set to the three new maps, and contains some really cool music and a chilling narration of Lord Byron's poem "Darkness", done by David Scully. This is definately worth a look. |

Bungie has uncovered the last of the Halo 3 DLC Legendary Map Pack maps: Blackout. Blackout is a strict remake of Lockout, as the name suggests, and looks quite good, all things considered. I'm happy that Lockout was remade, as I loved this map in the 2nd game. |

Said to be the successor to the Knights of The Old Republic games, this game is set in the Star Wars universe, but has had amazing detail and depth added to it. It's set for an April release and that's not too far away. I'm very much excited for this game. |

Hey guys, sorry there's been no activity from me, or anyone for that matter, for a while. I was going through a bunch of stuff at the same time. I got internet hooked up, then I needed to get a new router, my xbox 360 died, my gf got fired from one of her jobs, and I adopted a cat; plus I'm working all the time. I'll do better though, I got a new router which actually works and I'll try to finish the roster upgrade tonight. Sorry everyone! |
